Colossians

Study Length: 5 weeks

Do you want to overflow in faith, hope, and love? Do you want Christ to be displayed in your life and actions?

The key to imitating Christ is knowing who He is. In this 5-week course, Colossians: No One Like Jesus, reveals Jesus’s character and the transformative power of the gospel. Grow in knowledge, wisdom, and understanding through this encouraging and passionate letter to the early church.

In week one, rejoice with Paul at the church at Colossae’s fruitful transformation. Connect their good works, as Paul does, to the excellence of Christ Jesus.

In week two, listen to Paul’s description of his own ministry and hardship and marvel at his continued joy and faith amid suffering.

In week three, take to heart Paul’s warnings about imposters, false teachings, and deceptive worldly philosophies that cause Christians to live in ways that do not honor God.

In week four, be encouraged by Paul’s proclamation that believers, who were dead in their sin, are now raised to life in Christ. Then link this reality to his exhortations to love and forgive freely.

Finally, in week five, journey with Paul as these theological truths result in practical outworking. Paul’s goal may become your own: the total transformation of relationships.

Paul’s message in Colossians is clear. Jesus is like no other. Knowing Him changes everything, and especially how you relate to everyone in your life. Will you allow your heart and relationships to be transformed?
